PRIVACY POLICY

Bright PDF (“we“) respect the Privacy of its users (“user“, “you“, “your“), and therefore we have implemented applicable measures and procedures to protect users of our products and services from the risks of theft, disruption, and unauthorized access to their online information and activities. 

This privacy policy ( “Policy”) which is a part of the Company’s Search Product  End User License Agreement (“EULA”), and it governs the data collection, process and transfer regarding your use of the Search Product and the Search Product Services, all in accordance with the data protection and privacy regulations, including, as relevant to the user’s jurisdiction, included the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). 

We encourage you to read this policy carefully prior to downloading, accessing or using our services. In the event that you are a California resident, we recommend to you review our CCPA Privacy Notice Privacy Rights Request Form.

Please note, that the Policy does not cover your interaction with third-party content provided as part of our Search Product or included with a link therein. Our practices of privacy may be different from third parties’ privacy practices and we don’t control the privacy and security practices of third parties and shall not be responsible or liable to third parties’ omissions or acts.

What types of information we collect?

If you access or use Bright PDF’s Search Product and Search Product Services, we may collect and process the following information about you as describes below. 

The collected data includes both Personal and Non-Personal Data; 

  1. Personal Data: Personal Data is a data which identifies or may with reasonable effort identify an individual, including online identifiers.
  2. Non-Personal Data: Non-Personal Data is a non-identifiable aggregated data, such as technical data which is transferred from the user’s device. Non personal data is not used to identify individuals; 

The collection of Personal Data will be under the lawful principle of the GDPR, as follows: (i) using cookies for advertising purposes by the Company or its partners, such as advertisers or search feed providers. Subject to relevant law requirements, the Company request the user’s consent; (ii) processing online identifiers for operation and functionality purposes subject to the Company’s legitimate interest; and (iii) processing user’s contact details if the user chose to contact the Company, as well as any information provided to the Company for the purpose of execution of the agreement with the user.

 Below is a list of the specific types of data that will be collected, and the purposes of the collection:

    1. Bright PDF or our service providers may collect your IP addresses or other special online identifiers.  We collect such data in order to maintain, protect and manage the Search Product and the Search Product Services. Additionally, Bright PDF will use such collected data in order to improve the Search Product Service, including improving the User’s experience while using the Search Product Services; further more Bright PDF may use the collected data for analytic and statistic purposes regarding the users traffic flow and interaction with the Search Product; to audit the Company’s affiliates, calculate payments and detect fraud, including fixing security and technical issues. Bright PDF may use the IP address in order to determine user’s approximate location (such as country), and to provide applicable advertisements. The IP address will be stored as a non-identifiable, and after it collected, it will immediately be made anonymous (Bright PDF will use industry common standards in this regard). 
    2. Bright PDF may collect technical data when you use our Search Product and the Search Product, which may include information regarding date and time stamp, device type, operating system, language preference, estimated location, traffic source that lead the user to the Search Product, aggregated use of the Search Product and the Search Product Services, type of browser and search preference and Internet Service Provider. Such data is processes in order to strengthen and upgrade the Search Product, for operation purposes, and to administer internal statistics.
  • If you choose to contact Bright PDF voluntary, Bright PDF will ask you to add contact details such as name, or email address (“contact details“). Bright PDF may use the information in order to respond, and provide you with the service you requested. Moreover, the information regarding your communication with us may be stored if the company finds it is required to provide you with any assistance needed, improve the services or for any future claim to.
  1. Bright PDF may collect the User’s search related data while using the Search Product. This data may include data related to the URLs of websites that the User visited. Bright PDF will collect this type of data as an aggregated Non-Personal Data. However, web browsing data may contain data that could be deemed to be Personal Data. Bright PDF will delete this type of data a short time after the collection. We will use this data in order to provide certain features of the Software, such as display relevant advertising based on searches.

The Data we share

Bright PDF does not share with third parties any Personal Data collected from you, except as follows: 

  1. Comply with Applicable Law: Bright PDF may share your Personal Data, in this situation, only if it will required to do so in order to comply with any legal requirements
  2. Service Providers: in order to perform the Search Product and the Search Product Services’ features, Bright PDF may share your information with third parties. We prohibit our providers from using your information for any purposes which is not performing our instructions. 
  3. Corporate Transactions: Bright PDF may share your Personal Data, in compliance with the relevant laws requirements, in the event of a corporate transaction (such as, sale of a substantial part of our business, merger, consolidation or asset sale). In this kind of event, the Bright PDF’s acquiring company or affiliated companies will assume the rights and obligations under this Policy. 
  4. Affiliated Companies: Bright PDF may share your Personal Data, in compliance with the relevant laws requirements, with its affiliated companies such as: subsidiaries, parent company or controlled companies only when applicable or necessary. 
  5. Consent: Bright PDF may share your information with third party, subject to your consent. If the company does so, your information will be subject to such third party’s privacy policy; 
  6. Online Identifiers: Bright PDF may share your online identifiers with its business partners, in order to calculate payments and detect fraud, related to the Search Product and the Search Product Services.

 

Data Transfer 

Bright PDF may store or process your Personal Data in various territories, including in the US. If you are a resident of the EEA we will take appropriate measures to ensure that the Personal Data receives an adequate level of protection according to applicable law.

COOKIE POLICY

Bright PDF and its partners may implement “cookies” and similar files for the purpose of collecting information about the user’s use and activities of the Search Product and the Search Product Services. Cookies may be used for different uses, such as enriching the performance of or providing the Search Product Services and functionalities. Cookies of third party that are embedded in the Search Product and Search Product Services- shall be subject to the applicable cookie policy of the third party.

We use the cookies of the following third-party:

  • Google Analytics –for essential, functionality, operation & security purposes. 
  1. Facebook –for analytics, measurement & performance purposes.
  2. Jeeng for targeting and advertising.

How to opt-out your consent regarding data collection through cookies:

You may choose to opt-out from data collection and sharing process through cookies. Most browsers will enable users to block, delete or receive a notice before a cookie is stored. Please note, that by disabling cookies, some features of the Search Product and the Search Product Services will not perform properly and disabling cookies shall not prevent advertisements from being displayed, but not be personalized for the user during his use of the Search Product. 

Data Security

We deploy industry standards and better technical and administrative security measures in order to secure your Personal Data. However, it is very important for you to remember, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted, which can’t be one hundred percent secure and we cannot be responsible for the acts of those who gain unauthorized access or abuse the Search Product and the Search Product Services. Bright PDF makes no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, that it will be able to prevent such access.

Data retention

Subject to applicable laws, unless you instruct us otherwise, we retain the collected information for as long as necessary to provide our Search Product Services as described above, enforce our agreements (if applicable) and to any lawful needs. 

Please note, that this Policy shall not be interpret as an obligation to record information, and we may, at our  own discretion, avoid from any recording and storing or delete any and all kind information.

The rights of our users

Privacy and data protection laws and regulations may provide specific rights (depending on applicable jurisdiction) regarding Personal Information, as follows: 

  1. The right to access Personal Data; 
  2. The right to amend Personal Data (by adding, correcting, or deleting information);
  3. The right to request deletion of the Personal Data (if there is no reason for continued processing); 
  4. The right to object to the processing of Personal Data;
  5. The right to limit the processing of Personal Data, and to ensure that the data is accurate, complete and up to date; 
  6. The right to send or “port” Personal Data;
  7. The right to withdraw your consent, according to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice; and
  8. The right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority in the user jurisdiction.

Subject to privacy protections laws in your jurisdiction, you may have different than the rights listed above. In the event that you contact Bright PDF regarding the exercise of rights detailed above, we may request you to provide us certain information in order to verify your identity and locate such data. Such a process may take up to one (1) month, unless otherwise required applicable law. In the event the user does not provide us the required information, or under the applicable law, Bright PDF may reject the request. 

Children

The Search Product and the Search Product Services of Bright PDF are not intended for use of children under the age of 16 (or as defined by applicable)… The Company does not knowingly process a children’s information. Bright PDF will discard any information that it receives from a user that is considered a “children” immediately upon its discovery. Do Not Track Disclosure

Updates to the Policy

The “Last Revised” date of the Policy is indicated above. Bright PDF has the right to amend or revise this Policy at any time and at its sole discretion. Please review this Privacy Policy often as it may be updated from time to time. We will make best efforts to post a notice where we add material changes that will adversely affect your rights.
